Meet Michael Ann & Maxx! We first met Michael Ann at Johnstown Bridal Showcase in January 2023. It wasn’t long until she excitidely reached out to The Willow with “Can we book June 2024?” and “Can I add tequila to my bar package? It’s sort of my favorite.” Our kind of girl!
Michael Ann & Maxx have the cutest proposal story and we absolutely can not wait to celebrate with them in June 2024!
Michael Ann & Maxx met in August of 2016, when they were transferred to the same national guard unit. It didn’t take long for them to agree, they had something really good going. The future Thomases enjoy going to see live music and spending time with their family – especially their 3 nieces.
The Proposal
We like to think Maxx won Michael Ann with his humor. A few weeks prior to proposing, he had showed her a costume jewelry ring in a store and said he liked it. Michael Ann jokingly told him that the next ring he shows her better be an engagement ring.
Fast forward to the proposal, Maxx gave Michael Ann a jewelry box with the costume ring in the top drawer, and an engagement ring hidden away in the bottom drawer.
The Wedding
The future Mr. and Mrs. envision their wedding day filled with fun, family and friends. Maxx & Michael Ann plan to say their “I dos” at The Willow. They booked The Willow because it is “new and exciting,” but they also met right down the road! How special that they can literally take a drive down memory lane some day.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you Michael Ann & Maxx. We just know that we are going to have a blast!
