WHEN AND WHERE DID YOU MEET?
We met online (as most couples do these days lol) when I was still in college, and only shared a few messages back & forth one night, but then we coincidentally ran into each other the next night at a party! It felt like fate wanted us to actually meet in person!
TELL US ABOUT YOUR FIRST DATE!
We met a few months into covid when most restaurants had just shut down again, so Mark invited me to a Christmas party at his friend’s house. They threw me right into the group playing board games & it felt like I always belonged there! When restaurants finally started to open up again, we went to Applebee’s as our first “official” date out of the house.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO TOGETHER?
I didn’t have many hobbies until I met Mark, but he was determined to find a sport or activity we could do together. He is a huge golf lover & has spent a lot of time & patience teaching me how to play! Surprisingly, I have came to love it (not nearly as much as him lol ) but enjoy playing during our summers off with him & our friends. We also love to travel together & have taken many roadtrips over the past few years!
WHEN DID YOU KNOW HE/SHE WAS THE ONE?
I felt drawn to Mark from the moment I met him, but I’d say I knew he was the one when he came tubing with me and about 20 of my close family members after only knowing me for about a week! Mark knew I was the one after our first summer together where we did a lot of traveling including a roadtrip to Dallas, Texas & a vacation to Mexico!
HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
Mark proposed in Central Park while we were visiting NYC over Thanksgiving break with my family! It was a very special moment & I was so happy some of my family could be there to experience it with us!
WHEN YOU THINK OF YOUR WEDDING DAY, WHAT DO YOU ENVISION? WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR YOU?
We envision being surrounded by our closest family & friends celebrating this special day in our lives! The most important thing to us is that we enjoy our day & it’s one that we can remember for the rest of our lives!
WHY THE WILLOW?
We chose The Willow because of its ideal setting and atmosphere. We love to play games & have fun, and after seeing the outdoor cocktail space & hearing that we could have lawn games, Mark was sold! We just want everyone to have a good time & enjoy themselves at any given point in the night!
