WHEN AND WHERE DID YOU MEET?
We met at our local county fair about fifteen years ago! We both were involved in 4-H growing up and so for many years prior to dating we were best friends!
TELL US ABOUT YOUR FIRST DATE!
Because for so many years we were friends first, and our relationship slowly went from a friendship to something more, we don’t have an official “first date”!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO TOGETHER?
We enjoy traveling together, boating on Yough Lake in the summertime, watching Steeler football in the fall and raising livestock year-round!
WHEN DID YOU KNOW HE/SHE WAS THE ONE?
While Austin knew for many years prior to ever officially dating, it took Keegan a little longer to realize their friendship was something much more! We agreed to give dating a go in July of 2020 while spending a weekend together in the mountains of West Virginia! From that point on we just knew it was meant to be!
HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
Austin proposed at Yough Lake on July 1, 2023! He set up the perfect moment to truly surprise Keegan at her family’s cabin on the lake, making sure to have the special moment captured on camera! Without hesitation she said yes, but made sure to make him promise to always be each other’s best friend first!
WHEN YOU THINK OF YOUR WEDDING DAY, WHAT DO YOU ENVISION? WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR YOU?
We envision a modern indoor, outdoor wedding with a chic farmhouse country feel! We want to embrace both of our visions that truly capture who we are as a couple! We want to ensure our ceremony is special and unique to us, followed by a celebration full of love, laughter and happily ever after with those closest to us! We can’t wait to dance the night away with all of our guests for a night we truly will remember forever!
WHY THE WILLOW?
When we began looking at wedding venues, The Willow was one of the first venues that caught our eye! It was modern, elegant and checked all of our boxes. While we originally inquired about a wedding date in September or October, after looking at many other venues, we just knew we had to consider other available dates at The Willow! After touring the venue and meeting with Corey, it was evident The Willow had so much to offer and was made specially to make wedding dreams come true! The Willow is in a truly beautiful location with many versatile ceremony options, no matter what the weather may throw at us, can very comfortably accommodate our large guest list, is a great all-inclusive option and is everything we hoped for in a venue being that it is a great mix of modern elegance and country! If you ask Austin, he simply says “Because my fiancé is in love with it!”
