WHEN AND WHERE DID YOU MEET?
We met through mutual friends that introduced us! After a few cancelled dates, we ended up meeting at a small town bar for the first night. Tommy was so nervous because it was me and all my friends and he had never met any of them before!
TELL US ABOUT YOUR FIRST DATE!
Our first date we went to dinner together and talked for hours after in the car. I remember being so nervous to go on an official date.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO TOGETHER?
Vacations! We both love to go away whenever we can and enjoy the break from the normal chaos. I think spending time together in the evenings with the dogs and kids is our favorite most of all.
Tommy and I do photography as well, and this has become a passion for us both over the years. We love spending evenings with families and weekends photographing weddings!
WHEN DID YOU KNOW HE WAS THE ONE?
Tommy knew Trey was the one the first time he met him. He was funny, kind, and so much fun.
Trey knew Tommy was the one because he didn’t run after finding out it was a package deal with his daughters!
HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
Tommy set up a night in Pittsburgh. We went to dinner at a steakhouse and went to Mt Washington after. He proposed overlooking the city. It was perfect!! Everyone around clapped and wished us well. There was a game going on so we even had unplanned fireworks right after! It was very romantic and I still cant believe he could pull off that big of a secret without me knowing!
WHEN YOU THINK OF YOUR WEDDING DAY, WHAT DO YOU ENVISION? WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR YOU?
We both want simple but elegant. Formal dress is a must.. Most of all, we want to be surrounded by our family and friends and have an unforgettable celebration!
WHY THE WILLOW?
The Willow is close to home and we debated having a destination wedding but when we heard about this beautiful venue being built… it was an easy decision!! It is perfect for what we envision for our special day!
