WHEN AND WHERE DID YOU MEET?
We met in college at Saint Francis University our freshman year. Started dating sophomore year of college in 2020 and have been together since.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR FIRST DATE!
Our first date was at a local Italian restaurant in Greensburg. We went and saw a movie and went ice-skating.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO TOGETHER?
Our favorite thing to do together is to be outdoors. During the pandemic we would meet halfway and would find hiking trails, that started our love for anything outdoors. We are also both Italian and love to eat food together.
WHEN DID YOU KNOW HE/SHE WAS THE ONE?
My roommate in college actually met Joey our first week of college freshman year and told me “Gina I think you are going to marry this guy one day”. Ever since I met him I just knew he was the one, we shared the same values and just fit so well together.
HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
He proposed on a hiking trip we planned spontaneously last May. It was a hiking trail with a waterfall and he proposed by a spot underneath it. It was private and intimate, it was perfect!
WHEN YOU THINK OF YOUR WEDDING DAY, WHAT DO YOU ENVISION? WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR YOU?
The most important thing to always remember that it is not just this one day but a whole new chapter we will be entering after together. We are just so grateful that we will be celebrating this special day with our closest family and friends!
WHY THE WILLOW?
I have always envisioned growing up a rustic white barn and I have finally found it. It is a perfect spot for the both of us since I am from Pittsburgh and Joey is from Altoona. Makes things easier for both of our families.
